Sister Crisper’s Balm has cotton wood resin, which research shows is antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and neuroprotective. It’s great for scrapes, cuts, bruises, arthritis, and healing tattoos. Black cottonwood bud resin is “nature’s aspirin” with high amounts of salicin and is in the family Salicaceae along with Willow trees from which our modern aspirin was created. Use it for new or old pains, from bruises and bumps to arthritis, and with antimicrobial protection and the healing properties of calendula, nature’s most skin loving herb- this balm can do it all.
